About us
Salmon castle Lindum is an impressive building from the time when the English came to Suldal for salmon fishing. Today they offer camping and cabins in relaxed surroundings.
Lindum is one of several salmon castles in Suldal, and is today a symbol of the time when the English came to Suldal to fish for salmon. During the First and Second World Wars, the building was used as a care home for tuberculosis patients, and later it was used as a rehabilitation home and course and conference staff. Today, Lakseslottet Lindum is open to guests in the summer season with good opportunities for RVs and camping cars, tents and those who wish to rent a cabin. The area is close to Suldalslågen, with daily groceries, swimming and fishing opportunities and a number of walking routes close by. Lindum also has a communal barbecue that guests can use free of charge.
